The Dallas County Hospital and Family Clinics will be able offer a new service. 

Psychiatric treatment has become available at the hospital with the addition of Dr. Neeraja Kakade. The service will provide the ability to diagnose and treat mental illness, such as depression, anxiety disorders, bipolar disorder, dementia, substance abuse, and schizophrenia. Dr. Kakade received her medical degree from Gandhi Medical College in India and has been in practice for more than 20 years. She will start serving patients on the first and third Thursday of every month in Perry and the second and fourth Thursday of every month in Dallas Center beginning on this Thursday.
