The Panorama Panthers are in the midst of a post season with multiple events taking place. First up is the state qualifiers, where the Panthers, despite being a small team, have found success by taking an individualized approach. In the past, they’ve seen their runners peak in regionals just before the state qualifiers, often finishing in the top 10. Kylie Rochholz stands out, currently holding the 6th rank in her class for women’s running.
Another exciting event for the Panthers is the volleyball quarterfinals, first serve at 7 PM tonight. They’ll face off against the AC/GC Chargers, a team they’ve had previous losses to. However, with familiarity, the Panthers have created strategies to face this familiar opponent. Coach Mollie Sorber expresses her pride in the girls, saying, “Over the course of the season, the girls have played much more aggressively and have had some close games, making coaching, playing, and watching a little more intense and fun all around.”
A busy day for Panther athletes, but a fun one.
