The Paton Public Library is having an annual fundraiser tomorrow.
Library Director Kimberly Bohnet tells Raccoon Valley Radio Harvest Fest will be from 10:30am-noon at the Paton Community Center and City Park. She says there will be free pony rides and pumpkin painting at the shelter house and park, weather permitting. A meal of chili, cinnamon rolls, coffee and water will be served for a free-will donation, with take-outs available. Additionally, Bohnet says she will have used books that are no longer in circulation at the library available at the community center as part of a book sale, along with movies and magazines.
Bohnet says this is the third year they are hosting a fundraiser like this and all proceeds will go toward operational expenses, as well as adult and youth programming.
