The Perry School Board approved a measure to reward athletes that qualify for state in an activity. 

The Board approved the public purpose for purchasing state t-shirts for qualified athletes and activities for motivation, recognition, and for continued excellence. Superintendent Clark Wicks says that the athletes or those in activities who perform at a high level should be recognized.

“So that’s quite an achievement. It’s rare to make it to state in whatever the event might be. So kudos to the board and hopefully we’ll be purchasing some t-shirts at some point.”

The Board approved this at their meeting on October 9th.
