
Friday, October 20th
4:51am: An officer is investigating a reported Domestic Abuse Assault at 109 North Grimmell Road. Charges are pending.
10:04am: A caller advised of an Abandoned Bicycle in the 600 Block of South Cedar Street. The officer placed the bike in Impound.
1:06pm: Jeremy Kuehl reported a cow in the roadway in the 1300 Block of South Elm Street. The owner was contacted and the cow made it back home.
4:34pm: An officer assisted the GC Ambulance with a Medical Call in the 400 Block of East Lincoln Way Street. After receiving medical attention, an officer arrested William Wesley Bingle, 56 of Jefferson for, “Public Intoxication – Simple.”
7:00pm: Emily Baugh reported a dead opossum in the roadway in the 200 Block of East Clark Street. The officer removed it from the traveled portion of the road.
9:07pm: Deputies and officers performed a Consent Search at a garage in the 500 Block of South Olive Street. More items were seized in connection to the Burglary involving coins.
9:15pm: A caller reported Barking Dogs in the 300 Block of South Walnut Street. The officer was busy and responded later in his shift. He did not hear any barking in the area.
9:25pm: An officer responded to an Alarm Activation at 106 West Washington Street. The business was found to be secure.
Saturday, October 21st
10:26am: Kevin Eastman reported 3 chickens running in the area of Clark and Chestnut Street. The officer did not locate the reported birds.
2:23pm: Dispatch advised of an Open 911 Call from 408 West Greenewood Road. The officer spoke to a subject and learned it was an accidental dial.
6:48pm: Boone County requested officers to watch for a vehicle, which had been involved in a Hit & Run Accident in Boone county. The officers did not locate the vehicle.
7:51pm: A caller advised of an unsupervised fire at 709 Pinet Place. The officer spoke to the subject, who advised he would watch the fire until it was over.
10:02pm: Brandon Mitchell reported someone kept knocking on his door and running away at 607 West Monroe Street. The officer did not locate anyone in the area.
Sunday, October 22nd
12:07am: Dispatch advised of an Open 911 Call from 307 South Locust Street. The officer checked the address and learned it was an Accidental Dial.
7:28am: Jonathan Bravo spoke to an officer in connection to a Civil Child Custody Issue.
12:50pm: A female subject reported a possible Intoxicated Driver leaving 1409 North Elm Street. The officer did not locate the reported vehicle.
1:06pm: Nicole Genco reported an older female juvenile had taken her grandchildren’s football at Washington Park, and was refusing to give it back. She also had witnessed the juvenile assault her younger sister. The officer spoke to the parents of the juveniles and advised them he was contacting DHS about the incident.
