Greene County high school junior Noah Hinote runs tomorrow in the Class 3A boys’ race north of Ft. Dodge at Kennedy Park as part of the two-day Cross-Country Championships. Hinote is making his second State appearance after running in 2A as a sophomore.

Jeff Lamoureux is the head coach of the Rams and he talked with Raccoon Valley Radio about the experience Hinote takes to Ft. Dodge having been through it before. “It’s huge! Knowing the course he’s got a plan of attack and he’s shaken off those jitters when it’s your first time going and not knowing. Having that experience I have already seen a huge difference in his attitude and how he’s approaching this year as opposed to last year.” Hinote was ill for the days leading up to the 2002 race and Coach Lamoureux reports his runner as being in good health this time around.

Raccoon Valley Radio will have reports from Kennedy Park today and tomorrow keeping track of area State qualifiers.
