A reminder that today is a new event to help out the Dallas County Sheriff’s Benevolent Association.

“Cruising for a Cause” brings together vehicles of all makes and models to the law enforcement center in Adel. Anyone can join and there’s just a free-will donation to be a part of the festivities. All vehicles are to meet by 12:30pm and then at 1pm everyone will cruise by the Spurgeon Manor Retirement communities in Perry and Dallas Center.

Sergeant Ray Dirksen with the Dallas County Sheriff’s Office says all donations will go back to the Dallas County Sheriff’s Benevolent Association for their Shop with a Cop and Food Basket programs.
