A reminder that there two high schools in the Guthrie County area that are competing in a new event for the Iowa State Dance Team Association (ISDTA) today.

Soloists from the West Central Valley and Panorama dance teams are at Nevada High School for the ISDTA State Solo Dance qualifying competition. The other locations include Newton High School and Berg Middle School in Nevada. With a dramatic increase in the number of participants over the past four years, ISDTA Executive Director Andrea Dana said that a change was necessary.
