
The Greene County Historical Society is hosting its November program later this week.
November’s program will highlight the county’s wildlife. The featured speaker is long-time county conservation employee Dan Sayre who will go over the 1,865 acres of conservation area, including 60-acres in Squirrel Hollow Park and 50-acre Spring Lake Park.
The program will be at 12:45pm on Friday at Scranton United Methodist Church. Lunch will be served at noon for a small fee. To reserve a meal, call 515-386-4404 or their Historical Society community member contact.
