The wait is over as Taitlin Koch finally ran in the Class 2A girls State XC meet over the weekend in Fort Dodge. Koch had a great showing in the meet as she put up a time of 19:53.1. That was actually a PR for her on the season and no better time to get a PR then in the state championship meet. That 19:53.1 time was good for 21st overall in the meet. Koch finished her first mile split in a time of 6:11:8. She then finished in 6:34.8 in her second mile split. She then slowed down towards to end of the race in the final mile of the race as she finished split number 3 in a time of 7.06.5.
It was a great season for Koch as she finished with her personal record time of 19:53.1. Both Koch and West Central Valley will look to carry this momentum forward from this year into next year.
