
Several horses were rescued as part of an alleged neglect investigation in Dallas County.
According to the Dallas County Sheriff’s Office, there was an ongoing investigation about livestock neglect and a search warrant was executed on Wednesday at 33034 165th Street in rural Dallas County. Deputies found 46 horses that were in need of veterinary care. The horses were seized and charges are pending at this time.
The Animal Rescue League of Iowa and the Iowa Department of Agriculture assisted the investigation. Raccoon Valley Radio will bring you more information as it becomes official.
