The Greene County Youth Athletic Association is offering a basketball camp for kids to work on their skills.

The Fall 2023 Basketball Camp is for third through sixth graders that will meet four nights in November at the Scranton Community Center from 5:30-7:30pm. The dates are Thursday, November 9th; Monday, November 13th; Tuesday, November 14th; and Thursday, November 16th.

The camp is designed for youth to work on the fundamentals of basketball and improve their overall skill levels. Different skills that will be covered include ball-handling, passing, moving with and without the ball, defense and shooting. Participants must wear gym shoes and the cost is $15 per person. Additionally, if there is enough interest from the camp, a league may also happen with other local towns with similar skill levels.
