This week holds an important day for local elected officials.
Tuesday, local elections will take place, and city council and school board members will be elected. Residents of Guthrie County can continue to submit ballots either through mail or in person at the Auditor’s office until 8pm Tuesday. For individuals who live in Adair and Stuart where part of the town is in Adair County, ballots will need to be submitted to the Adair County Auditor’s Office.
On election day, Guthrie County voters in the Bayard Precinct will vote at the Bayard Community Center, while voters in the Casey Precinct will need to go to the Casey Community Building. Voters in the Guthrie Center Precinct will vote at Christian Church Fellowship Hall, those in the Panora Precinct will go to Veteran’s Auditorium, while those in the Stuart Precinct will vote at the Congregational Church, and voters in Yale will need to go to the Yale Community Building.
For individuals living in the Adair County portions of Adair and Stuart, polling locations will be at the Adair Community Center and Stuart Recreational Center respectively.
