The Mary J Barnett Memorial Library is hosting their next Lunch and Learn Wednesday.

Library Director Jerri Hawkins reminds the community that Lunch and Learns start at noon, and a light lunch is provided. She says that this time, the guest speaker will be the local Farm Bureau, and shares what they will be going over.

“They’re doing a Medicare seminar now. It’s not just focused on selling a certain product. This is kind of an overview of Medicare, and he will be available to answer questions.”

Hawkins mentions that this would be a good opportunity for anyone that either has questions about the different plans with Medicare, or that is preparing to apply for Medicare, and wants to find out which plan is best for them. She adds that anyone is welcome to attend, but that the library does ask those interested in attending to register so they know how much food to prepare.
