
The polls for city and school elections are closed.
Unofficial results are in for Panora Mayor, with Curtis Thornberry leading Ryan Ketelsen 145 votes to 133. For Panora City Council, Mark Sheeder leads the incumbents with 33.53-percent of the votes, and for the two vacant seats, Roger Dorr commands 42.75-percent of the votes, with Blake Michelsen behind him with 28.82-percent. In the Stuart City Council race, Craig Russell leads the incumbents with 41.76-percent of the votes, and Michael Kalbach is behind him with 35.9-percent of the votes.
For the two at large positions on the Adair -Casey School Board, Justin Crawford leads with 48.07-percent of the votes, while incumbent Randal Carney follows with 30.39-percent. In the contested races for Panorama School Board members, Heidi Clark leads incumbent Cale Kastner in District 1, with 67.52-percent of the votes, while in District 2 Clinton Deardorff is the leading candidate, with 47.06-percent of the votes. In Panorama School District 3, incumbent Deborah Westergaard leads Shane Jensen with a commanding 78.46-percent of the votes.
The public measure for the Adair – Casey School District currently has a 90.70-percent approval, while the public measure for the Guthrie Center School District has a 90-percent approval.
