The Guthrie County Iowa State University Extension and Outreach is preparing for different events throughout the month.

Program Director Meghan McBride shares what is happening this week that will include younger members of the county.

“This week we are starting our after school Clover Kids. We are in Panora, Adair and Guthrie Center. This week we will be doing an activity on the weather with different experiments and crafts and all sorts of stuff. So contact the office if you are interested in joining our after school Clover Kids.”

McBride mentions that the Extension will be visiting the Mary J Barnett Memorial Library on November 13th for a Science Technology Engineering and Math (STEM) program at 3:30pm, and will hold a pesticide applicators training course on November 15th from 9-11:30am. There will also be a porch pot workshop from 6-8pm on the 15th, with a STEM program at the Menlo Public Library on November 21st at 10am, and again on November 28th at the same time.
