Veterans Day is on Saturday and several offices and businesses will be on Friday and Saturday in observance of the holiday.

The Greene County Courthouse, Greene County ISU Extension Office, and Jefferson City Hall, will be closed on Friday. The Jefferson Public Library and the Jefferson Post Office are closed on Saturday. Library staff reminds patrons, nothing is due to the library when it is closed for a holiday. 

Because of the holiday being observed on Friday, no garbage or recycling routes are impacted for Jefferson residents.
