Dallas Center – Grimes girls wrestling will be participating in their second season of sanctioned wrestling in the state of Iowa, and they will be hoping to build upon their great success that they found from a season ago.

Last season, seven different wrestlers were able to make it to the girls state tournament, and five of those wrestlers are projected to return to the mat for the upcoming year. Josephine Bond, Asia Jahangir, Bella Mulder, and Halley Beaudet are also projected to once again wrestle this winter according to the roster on TrackWrestling.

Under the direction of Rex Gray, DCG has been able to produce wrestlers that are smart, tough, and will execute at a high level, and will be continuing to master their moves during preseason practices.

DCG will be looking to find success in their first meet of the season happening on Tuesday, November 14th when they host multiple schools at DCG High School.
