The Perry High School Girls Swim Team is sending several athletes to the state meet.

This past weekend in Ames was the qualifying swim meet and for the Jayettes they have five events going to state on Saturday. Junior Quin Mahler-Moreno will compete in the 200 Meter Freestyle and 100 Meter Breastroke, and senior Sophia McDevitt qualified in the 100 Meter Butterfly. The other two events are the 200 and 400 Meter Freestyle Relay with Mahler-Moreno, McDevitt, Lilly Riley and Aleah Karolus. 

The state meet takes place in Marshalltown at the YMCA on Saturday.
