The high school football semifinals are taking place through Saturday inside the UNI-Dome in Cedar Falls. Greene County missed the playoffs for the first time since 2017 and head coach Caden Duncan talked with Raccoon Valley Radio about the 2024 season.

“The expectation, the goals, do not change really at all. We are going to bring back quite a few players this year with experience, more than people realize if they just look at our stat sheet or our returning All-District players necessarily. We’re going to take what we learned this year and utilize that going forward,” said the coach.

He added that the offseason program is underway and going well. The Rams were 1-4 in Class 2A District 8 and went 3-5 overall in 2023.
