
The Guthrie County Sheriff’s Office recently arrested two individuals who face multiple charges.
With the help of the Stuart Police Department and the Iowa Department of Health and Human Services, a search warrant was executed on Thursday at 620 Sherman Street in Menlo. Two arrests were made, including Cody and Heather Jydstrup. Additionally, there were two children that were removed from the residence, as ordered by the Guthrie County District Court, due to unsafe living conditions.
Cody Jydstrup was charged with two felonies for child endangerment, and misdemeanors for possession of methamphetamine first offense, possession of marijuana first offense, possession of drug paraphernalia.
Heather Jydstrup was charged with a Class B Felony for distribution of a controlled substance to persons under the age of 18, as well as two other felonies for child endangerment, and misdemeanors for possession of methamphetamine first offense, possession of marijuana first offense, possession of morphine first offense, possession of hydrocodone first offense, possession of drug paraphernalia.
The Jydstrups were booked into the Guthrie County Jail. Raccoon Valley Radio will have more information when it becomes available.
