Funeral services for Richard Frederick Peters, age 83, of Lincoln, NE, formerly of Yale, will be at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 18, 2023, at the Schmidt Family Funeral Home in Adair, IA. Interment with military honors will be held following the funeral at the Dodge Township Cemetery, just south of Bagley, IA.

Visitation with family will be from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Friday, November 17, 2023, at the Schmidt Family Funeral Home in Adair.

n lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Yale Saddle Club.

Richard is survived by his daughter, Peggie Hoeft of Council Bluffs, IA; granddaughter, Samera Hoeft of Council Bluffs, IA; and one brother, Roy Peters of Des Moines.
