The Iowa Department of Education recently released the Iowa School Performance Profile.

This is a school district’s report card where each individual building within a school district is graded based on required measures in public schools. Adel-DeSoto-Minburn School District Superintendent Greg Dufoe says for the first time all five buildings were scored at the second highest level with “high performing.”

“We feel really good about the fact that all five of our attendance centers are in the ‘high performing’ category, that’s a big win for us. Meadow View Elementary, through the information that we’ve gathered, is the 15th highest scoring elementary school in Iowa, DeSoto Intermediate is the 58th highest, our middle school is the seventh highest scoring, and our high school is the tenth highest scoring. We’re really excited about those results.”

ADM is one of only eight school districts in the state that have all of their buildings at the “high performing” level. Of those seven other school districts, ADM was the largest in terms of enrollment of over 2,200 students in kindergarten through 12th grade.
