The ADM Tigers women’s basketball team won their first game last night against the Van meter Bulldogs. The final score 53-39. The Tigers took an early lead in the first quarter ending with 15-13. In the second the Tigers displayed strong defense as they allowed zero points for the Bulldogs, while scoring 12 of their own. In the third the Tigers scored 12 against the Bulldogs 15, but kept it very close in contested points made. In the fourth and final quarter, the Tigers, finished off strong by scoring 14 against the Bulldogs 11.

Giving the Tigers their first win of the season. Their official overall record is 1-2 before the Thanksgiving break. Both loses are against non-conference teams, Des Moines Christian and Norwalk, which will not affect their conference seeding.
