The Greene County High School Drama Department is getting ready to host its fall play.

“Santa Zombie Apocalypse” is the story of zombies invading Santa’s Toyshop and it is up to two reindeer to stop them and rescue Santa. High School Sophomore Ella Ostrander talks about how rehearsals have been going and why she wanted to be a part of the fall play.

“I think the play is really fun this year, I’m so happy it’s a Christmas-y play. I joined the play this year because I love doing the productions, it’s so fun to work with others, and to put on a great show for my community, and it’s just really fun.”

Sophomore Lucy Vander Linden describes what she thinks about the play.

“So I think the play this year is very cute and fun. It’s definitely for a little bit of a younger audience. It’s nice and it’s not scary which is good for little ones who want to go watch it.”

The performances are Friday and Saturday nights at 7pm at the high school auditorium. Tickets are $3 for students and $12 for adults and purchasing tickets this time is going to be cashless.
