The Stuart Public Library is preparing for an event filled month for December.

Starting on Monday, they will have their cookbook club meeting, with everyone bringing in holiday treats at noon, and a book club meeting at 5pm the same day. Rachel Majerus with the Stuart Public Library says that there is a holiday paper craft class at 2pm on Tuesday, with a fun new event on Wednesday.

“We are also going to be starting gentle yoga in December for adults. This will be on Wednesdays at 10am. Chair yoga, you don’t need any experience, it’s just an opportunity to get moving. We have an instructor named Amy Lipovac who’s going to be coming in and doing that every Wednesday in December. We do ask that people sign up ahead of time for that by calling the library.”

Majerus mentions that there will be a social hour and games for homeschooled students at 1pm on December 7th, and an ugly Christmas stocking art class on the 11th at 3pm, and the monthly Books and Badges event at 10am on December 14th.
