The Panorama Panthers first basketball conference game is tonight against Madrid Tigers. Although the season began on Tuesday, both teams are off to strong start as they’ve both came hone with wins over Greene county rams and IKM-manning wolves. After talking to panther guards Kaitlyn Kent and Braylon Dawes they had this to say about their role on the team and knowing how they can help their team finish the night with a win…

“one of my strong assets is defense so if I am going to a game she knows that I am going out there to play defense.” Kaitlyn finishing the night against IKM-Manning with a solid defense performance having 3 steals and 1 block. Knowing that she has a reliable teammates to focus on her assignment.
Braylon himself recognizes that as a team player he has to make sure the confidence and energy needs to be there no matter how the game is going, “I just want to win, doesn’t matter what it takes as long as we win as a team.” potentially later in the season making sure that the energy the team needs is there from beginning to end. Dawes finished last nights game with 20 points, 3 assists, and 5/6 from the free throw line.
The womens game is expected to begin around 6pm tonight with the tigers coming in at 0-3. While both mens teams are currently 2-0. This game is the first conference game of the year and both Panther teams are ready to show the conference of what they’re made of.
