It’s the second and final day of the Cliff Keen Independence Wrestling Invitational. Friday’s wrestling was done in pools of four wrestlers with today’s action in brackets determined by Friday’s pool results. Greene County was 20th among 33 teams after Friday’s action with Gavyn Winters (120 lbs.), Gavin Scheuermann (157 lbs.), and Brent Dennhardt (165 lbs.) all going 3-0 and still having a chance to win individual titles going into today.

All 10 Rams wrestling at Independence won at least one match on Friday with Jaron Jacobs going 2-2 at 106 lbs., Brennan Jacobs 2-1 at 113, Jacob Harmeyer 1-3 at 126, Crew Conner 2-1 at 144, Jackson Turner 2-1 at 150, Degan Miller 1-3 at 175, and Marcus Ball 2-2 at 215 lbs.

Wrestlers receive a one pound weight allowance at weigh-in today since this is a two day tournament.
