Both varsity basketball teams at Greene County High School are looking for their first wins of the season. Getting in the win column looks to be challenging against the South Hamilton Hawks in Jewel. The SH girls are 3-1 on the season and the Hawks are 3-0 on the boys’ side. Both South Hamilton teams are 1-0 in the Heart of Iowa Activities Conference after defeating Saydel (Des Moines) last Friday.

Greene County’s teams are a combined 0-7 with the girls 0-4 and the boys 0-3. Both teams for the Rams lost in Monroe vs. PCM in the first conference games of the season.
