Tuesday, December 5th

2:04am: An officer located an Open Door at 507 West Wall Street. The officer secured the business.

4:58am: A Traffic Stop in the 1700 Block of Westwood resulted in Shawn Knudsen of Jefferson being cited for, “Excessive Speed.” The officer’s radar locked him at 54 in the 25-mph zone.

12:13pm: A Traffic Stop in the 100 Block of Westwood Drive resulted in Ruth McKenzie of Coon Rapids being cited for, “Excessive Speed.”

12:32pm: Simeon Lang reported a Stray Dog in the 500 Block of Hickory Lane. The officer placed the dog in the Animal Holding Facility.

12:58pm: Carol Harrison reported a check had been written at 205 West McKinley in Jefferson for the amount of $326.33 on November 6th, 2023. Harrison reported the check was from a closed account and she had not written the check. The officer is investigating.

1:55pm: A caller requested a Welfare Check on a female in the 400 Block of West Head Street. Officers have not been able to reach the subject.
