An agricultural business made its official last financial commitment to a building project with the Greene County School District.
Landus Cooperative agreed to pledge $50,000 over five years beginning in the 2018-19 school year to help build the career academy. This year was the final $10,000 commitment from the farmer-owned company, which the school district has been appreciative of the support from Landus through the duration of their pledge over the past five years.
Plans are being made for students to visit the Landus Innovation Connector in Des Moines to learn and understand how Landus does more than just agriculture. The school district also extends a “thank you” to Sue Tronchetti as External Affairs and Delbert Uhlik as the Jefferson Hub Lead for their support of the students and programs.
