The West Central Valley Wildcats basketball teams both fell to 2-2 on the season, after losing their Tuesday night games to the Des Moines Christian Lions.

The girls team was outscored 12-6 in the first quarter, then outscored the Lions 6-3 in the second to go into halftime down 15-12. They were outscored once again in the second half, with the Lions scoring 16 to the Wildcats 8, and lost the game 31-20. The boys team scored in the single digits for all but one quarter, going into halftime down 38-16, and finishing the game with a 64-31 loss
