The Guthrie County Iowa State University Extension and Outreach is holding an important meeting next week.

Program Director Meghan McBride says that they will host the Women in Ag Steering Committee Meeting, and tells Raccoon Valley Radio some perks with attending the meeting.

“Lunch will be provided, and that will be at noon here at the Guthrie County ISU Extension Office. And we would like people to RSVP for that, just so we know how many to expect.”

The Women in Ag group through ISU is responsible for many programs, including Annie’s Program, Heartbeat of the Farm: Human Resource Management, Women Managing Farm Finances, Farmland, Horses, Grain and many others. The steering committee helps to make sure everything is running smoothly and in the right direction.
