A popular pesticide training course is coming up tomorrow in Jefferson.

Greene County ISU Extension Director Lori Mannel says the Private Pesticide Applicator Training happens on Friday from 1:30-3:30pm at Clover Hall on the Greene County Fairgrounds in Jefferson. She points out it is better to register ahead of this program.

“We do ask that you let us know if you’re coming so we have the paperwork ready. But if you are not able to do that we will certainly allow you to come in. Please show up by 1:15(pm on Friday) because we do need to lock those doors by 1:30, so there are no late admittances.”    

Registration fee is $30 by contacting the Extension Office in Jefferson at 515-386-2138 or stopping by to sign up. Additionally, there will be another offering on March 7th from 6:30-8:30pm at the Greene County Extension Office.
