The Bluejays relied heavily on Geren Kenney Friday night in the loss to South Hamilton. The Hawks and Bluejays would play to a 17-17 draw in the first. Five first half threes from Kenney would help Perry get to a 34-28 lead. A low scoring third would still see the Bluejays hold on to a 5 point lead, 44-39. Perry would extend their lead to 9 early in the fourth, 48-39. After that moment, the Hawks would outscore Perry 24 to 7. Despite 30 points from Kenney, Perry fell 63-55.
Perry suffers their fourth straight loss and moves to 1-4 (0-3). South Hamilton stays perfect 6-0 (3-0).
Next up for Perry a home game against PCM on Tuesday. Coverage will begin at 5:45P on KDLS for a girl/boy doubleheader.
