
The Jayettes failed to secure their first conference win after falling to South Hamilton Friday night, 65-32. A slow start would doom Perry as they trailed 15-6 after the first and then 29-19 at half. It got worse in the third as Perry was outscored 26-6 and the lead would balloon to 30 for the Hawks. Final score 65-32.
Perry falls to 1-5 (0-3) and South Hamilton improves to 6-1 (3-0).
Karagyn Wheichel had a team high 9 points on 3 made threes. Lilly Myers and Taryn Nehring each chipped in 7 points
Next up for Perry a home game against PCM on Tuesday. Coverage will begin at 5:45P on KDLS for a girl/boy doubleheader.
