A holiday tradition was in full effect with the Perry Chamber’s Lighted Parade.

Perry Chamber Director Lynsi Pasutti says it was an overall success.

“I think that we had a really great turnout both on the number of floats and the creativity of floats, and then also the turnout from the community that came out to enjoy the parade. So just a big ‘thank you’ to everyone involved that kind of helped carry on this festive tradition.” 

The winners included Rainbow International of Des Moines who took home first place and $350 of Perry Chamber Bucks, BTWI was in second place with $250 Perry Chamber Bucks, and in third place was Showtime Dance and Tumbling Studio that also received $150 in Perry Chamber Bucks. Honorable mentions when to Landus Cooperative and Circle K, along with the Perry VFW Post #2060 was the pre-registration drawing winner. 

Pasutti thanks the Matt and Shanda Carstens Family Foundation for providing the increased parade prize money as extra incentive to get more entries.
