A local Greene County band has slated to do its annual holiday shows.

The Town and Country Band is going to perform tomorrow at 7pm at the First Baptist Church in Churdan and 2pm on Sunday at the Central Christian Church in Jefferson. Both shows will include “A Christmas Festival” by Leroy Anderson that has a medley of carols, along with “Silent Night” with Jefferson resident Jeff Lamoureux using Biblical context, as well as swing and jazz holiday songs. 

Additionally, Lamoureux will also recite “Twas the Night Before Christmas” with the band playing in the background. 

The Town and Country Band is led by Director Victoria Anderson and the musicians are young teens through retired individuals from Greene County and surrounding areas. Free will donations will be accepted at either concert.
