A medical organization was recently recognized for its commitment to adult immunizations.

McFarland Clinic earned the “RIZE to the Challenge” Award from the American Medical Group Association Foundation’s Rise to Immunize (RIZE) campaign. This award is given for high-performing medical groups and health systems across the country that have made progress in adult immunizations.

The national RIZE campaign focuses on medical groups and health systems to administer 25 million immunizations by 2025 and in four key areas, including influenza, pneumococcal, Td/Tdap, and zoster. As of June 30, 2023, McFarland Clinic had 91.3% of its adult patients 66 and older up-to-date on their pneumococcal vaccine. 

McFarland Clinic was one of three organizations nationally to receive this award.
