The Adel-DeSoto-Minburn School Board will meet Monday night.

The retiring board meeting will start at 6pm. The Board will examine the financial books and accept the abstract of elections. 

The organizational meeting will begin at 6:15pm. The meeting will start with the oath of offices for the newly elected school board members, followed by the elections for board president and vice president. Then the Board will consider for approval appointing the board secretary/treasurer/school business official, appointing the homeless coordinator, the equity/Affirmative Action coordinator, a resolution for the official depositories and newspapers, and the school board contract negotiations team. Additionally, the Board will also hold a public hearing on the 2024-25 school calendar and then consider approving the measure after the hearing. 

The Board will also consider approving School Budget Review Committee requests for modified State Supplemental Aid for increasing enrollment and English Language Learners for students beyond five years, an addendum for the new high school project, and a memorandum of understanding with Family Connections. Finally, the Board will discuss the district’s voluntary early retirement incentive.
