
The Guthrie Center City Council will meet in regular session tonight.
The Council will consider for approval liquor licenses for Reinhart Foods and Pine Room, before swearing in Mayor Mike Herbert, and the three reelected Council members. They will then hear the annual Mary J Barnett Memorial Library report from Library Director Jerri Hawkins, before considering the Main Street financial commitment resolution, destruction of City records older than five years per city code, and discuss salary reviews.
The Council will then hear departmental reports from the compliance officer, streets department and City Hall, along with reviewing a temporary ordinance pertaining to storage containers, and reviewing the abstract update for 901 Main. The meeting begins at 6:30pm, and takes place in the Council Chamber in City Hall. Raccoon Valley Radio will have results from the meeting later in the week.
