
Friday, December 8th
6:35am: An officer located an Open Door in the 1800 Block of North Elm Street. All was fine at the business.
9:33am: An officer was requested at 101 Ram Drive to speak with students and parents involved in a situation. The officer spent time with the students, parents, and school staff working through the issues. It was determined to be best handled by the school.
11:58am: Oly’s Corner reported a subject left without paying for fuel. The officer is investigating.
12:42pm: Les Pierce reported six padlocks had been cut on his storage units, located at 710 North Cedar Street. The renters of the units did not think anything had been taken. Pierce is reviewing video footage to help in the investigation.
1:55pm: An officer assisted Jefferson Fire at 507 North Wilson Ave. The occupant had reported the basement was full of smoke. It was determined to be an issue with the furnace. No damage occurred.
10:00pm: An officer responded to an Alarm Activation at 106 West Washington Street. The officer found the business to be secure and advised a Keyholder.
10:12pm: A caller advised of a Barking Dog in the 400 Block of South Cedar Street. The officer located a dog in a fenced area, which was barking. The officer spoke to the owner, who advised he would take steps to remedy the issue.
Saturday, December 9th
1:10pm: Dale Ganoe requested assistance at 203 East Perry Street with a Civil Property Issue. The officer retrieved his property to end the issue.
10:08pm: An officer assisted the GC Ambulance with a Medical Call in the 600 Block of West Monroe Street.
10:38pm: Dispatch received an Open Line 911 Call, which mapped in the 200 Block of West Harrison Street. The officer did not locate anyone in the area needing assistance.
Sunday, December 10th
2:05am: Kody Hoskins reported a Stray Dog near Elm and Russell Streets. The officer did not locate the reported animal.
10:16am: A Traffic Stop in the 700 Block of North Elm Street resulted in Hannah Lange of Guthrie Center being cited for, “Excessive Speed.”
10:41pm: A Traffic Stop in the 1800 Block of North Elm Street resulted in William Arnold of Jeferson being cited for, “Dark Windows.”
12:51pm: A Traffic Stop in the 800 Block of East Lincoln Way Street resulted in Marta Lacey of Grand Junction being cited for, “Fail to Provide Proof of Financial Liability.”
4:27pm: A Traffic Stop in the 300 Block of West Clark Street resulted in Kyle Bellcock of Rockwell City being cited for, “Dark Windows.”
6:35pm: An officer responded to an Alarm Activation at 1706 North Elm Street. The officer found the business to be secure and contacted a keyholder.
10:32pm: An officer issued a Parking Violation Notice in the 200 Block of East Perry Street for, “Parked Facing Wrong Direction.”
