The Perry Chamber of Commerce has some new board members going into the new year.

Chamber Director Lynsi Pasutti says the board held its annual member meeting and three new individuals were elected to serve on the board. Those individuals include Andrea Brownlee with First Christian Church, Audi Sorber with Keller Williams Real Estate, Jayde Fellom with Blonde Sisters Boutique and Larry Vodenik of Perry Hy-Vee is a renewal for two more years. Pasutti is happy with these new board members.

“I mean it’s always great to have fresh energy and new ideas, but it’s also really important to kind of make sure that we’re having a diverse board in terms of types of businesses that are represented. I mean that’s really the whole point of that to kind of be the voice of the members, but then it’s a very active board in terms of volunteering and being a part of behind the scenes for the different programs and events that we coordinate.”

Pasutti adds these new members will join the other eight that are currently on the board.
