A reminder that this weekend is the final time for a retail promotion in Greene County.

Jefferson Matters Executive Director Matt Wetrich says for the past few weeks, several businesses in Greene County have been participating in a promotion of when someone stops into their shop, they can enter their name for a drawing for Chamber Bucks.

“We’ve been doing a Facebook Live event and drawing four winners each or $25 of Chamber Bucks. If you are a recipient of Chamber Bucks through either that drawing or maybe as a gift, just so you know basically it acts like a gift card to any Greene County business, aside from Dollar General, but if you’re a business owner basically just take it like any check. It gets deposited, your account is credited, you don’t lose money, it should be no inconvenience whatsoever.” 

About 16 retailers and other businesses are participating in the “Oh What Fun” promotion.
