A Paton-Churdan student recently won a drawing for tickets to a home Iowa State University basketball game.

P-C teamed up with Raccoon Valley Radio for one of its Caring Christmas Food Drives on Thursday. Students that brought in non-perishable food items, along with paper products and personal care items this past week, received a ticket that was entered into a drawing for ISU basketball tickets.

Then during the live broadcast from the school, the drawing was held and third grader Maci Fredrickson won four tickets to the home men’s game against Texas Christian University on February 10th. P-C Principal Annie Smith says they raised 100 items for the local food pantry, the Greene County Action Resource Center.
