Paton-Churdan dropped a Rolling Valley Activities Conference girl/boy basketball doubleheader in Anita vs. CAM on Friday night. CAM won the girls’ game 66-18 to drop the Rockets to 0-6 on the season and 0-5 in conference play. Alivya Smith had nine points and Kaliyah Minnihan added four for P-C. Both girls are freshmen. Eva Steffensen scored 25 points for the Class 1A number 11 Cougars, who improved to 6-1 overall and 4-1 in the conference. CAM scored 33 points in each half while the Rockets had 14 of their 18 points in the first half.

CAM won the boys’ game 77-37 as the Rockets remain winless on the season. CAM improved to 3-2 on the season and in the leaguewhile the Rockets are 0-7, 0-5. No other details were available as of this writing.
