Today is the day for Christmas fun in Menlo.

The Christmas celebration begins with the Menlo Parks and Recreation Department cookie walk from 9-10am, with all proceeds going back to the department. Santa’s workshop will be open form 1-2pm, with bingo going on in the community building from 2-3pm. A soup supper sponsored by the Menlo Booster Club will be served from 4:30pm to 6pm, with a visit from Santa to begin at 6pm, then the lighted Christmas parade through the downtown area will begin at 7pm.
