Time is running out for Perry residents to get nominations in for what house they think is the best decorated for the holidays.
Perry Chamber Director Lynsi Pasutti says they brought back the Lighted Decorations Contest since the covid pandemic. Pasutti points out a sponsor stepped forward to revive the contest with prizes. She notes that people just have to drive around town and vote on what residences have the best holiday decorations. Pasutti notes nominations must be submitted online by using a Google form.
Pasutti talks about the next steps after the nomination deadline has passed.
“And then we’re going to be putting together a map so that people can kind of be a self-guided tour around town to see all the lights. Obviously you can just drive around but it’s nice to know, ‘Oh I never drive down that street and it’s good to know that they’ve got a really nice decorated yard.”
