The Adair – Casey / Guthrie Center FFA Chapter is looking to start an alumni chapter.

Advisor Skie Shull says that since she’s taken over as the chapter’s advisor, there’s been a huge amount of supporters for the group, but that there hasn’t been a great way of being able to reach out for help when it’s wanted or needed for events. As the chapter is becoming more active, she says it’s becoming harder for her to be everywhere at once to make sure everything is running smoothly.

Shull mentions that this alumni chapter would be a great way for past members to stay in touch with current members. She explains that the alumni chapter would be a separate entity from the AC/GC FFA chapter, with herself or future advisors as the liaison between the two groups, would make it easier to find and get in contact with volunteers to help with events, and the alumni could act as chaperones for events at any level on an as needed basis.
