The final high school girl/boy bowling doubleheader for the Greene County Rams is today vs. Gilbert at Spare Time Lanes in Jefferson. The Tigers are a Class 1A program while the Rams are in 2A because of a sharing program Greene County has with Carroll High School.
Gilbert’s boys are 4-0 and so are the Rams, but the Tigers have rolled over 2,900 pins consistently and have a season high of more than 3,100 pins. Greene County has topped 2,500 pins just once. Gilbert has five bowlers with a high two game series ranging from 416-463 while the Rams have four bowlers with a high series from 403-463.
The Gilbert girls are 2-2 and the Rams are 0-4. The Tigers have senior Kylee Miller leading the way with a high series for two games of 446. Senior Graci Cooklin has the high Greene County series at 241.
Action begins today at 4 p.m.
